The fun behind these socks is that each pair relates to a rebel like for instance Pablo Picasso whose disregard for convention culminated in the influential avant-garde of Cubism or Heron of Alexandria the Greek Inventor and mathematician, Elsie Inglis, the Scottish surgeon and suffragist, The Heroic rebellion of the White Swallow Crew, Rob Roy MacGregor the infamous Scottish outlaw, the rebellious work of the Solf Circle, Roger Bacon the English Friar who discovered light and refraction. You will need to buy a pair to find out more of the history of the above rebels!

Frustrated by looking smart but feeling bored at work, Alex and Ini, 2 great mates at work, launched Quiet Rebellion to combat stuffiness and make smart clothes feel fun. They searched for the best cotton yarns and the most inspiring rebels! Within the first 3 months socks were being sent to 25 different countries. In May 2016 they faced the fire in the Dragons Den. Peter Jones saying he did not get it and Deborah Meaden saying she would buy a pair for her husband for Christmas. Each pair of socks has a cheeky pattern on the foot which celebrates a rebel who has gone against the grain for the greater good, with a plain black top disguising the fact there is a bit of fun going on on the foot and enabling the wearer to wear the socks for all occasions.
